Governor Pete Ricketts Announces Support of Conservative Colonel Tom Brewer in Legislative District 43
Lincoln, Neb. – Today Governor Pete Ricketts announced his support of Republican candidate Colonel Tom Brewer for Legislature in District 43 which includes Keya Paha, Brown, Loup, Blaine, Thomas, Logan, McPherson, Hooker, Grant, Cherry,
Sheridan, Dawes, and Box Butte counties.
“Colonel Brewer has spent his life serving and protecting our freedoms in the US military and I support him continuing his public service in the Unicameral,” said
Ricketts. “With revenues forecasts down we need conservative senators who are willing to fight for taxpayers and reduce spending instead of increasing taxes on
Nebraska’s working families.”
After 36 years of decorated service, Brewer retired after a rocket-propelled grenade severely wounded him on his 6th tour in Afghanistan.
Tom Brewer and his wife Kelli, who served in the military for 26 years, have two grown children Travis and Kalee who both also serve in the armed forces.
